     Dorothy Ida Leigh Hare was born circa 1887. She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Leigh Hare, 1st Bt. and Lady Ida Cathcart.1 She married Commander Charles Wilbraham John Howard, son of Captain John Henry Howard and Eliza Salt, on 6 January 1909.1 She died on 5 December 1968.1
     Her married name became Howard.

     Brig.-Gen. Charles Graeme Higgins was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.).2 He was decorated with the Companion of the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) (and bar).2
