     Susannah Woodham was the daughter of Reverend Woodham Joseph Woodham.¹ She married Joseph Gulston, son of Joseph Gulston and Elizabeth Bridgetta Stepney, on 15 April 1787 at St. Bride's Church, Fleet Street, London, England.¹ She died in 1806.¹
     From 15 April 1787, her married name became Gulston.¹

     Sir John Stepney Cowell-Stepney, 1st Bt. was born on 28 February 1791.¹ He was the son of General Andrew Cowell and Justina Maria Stepney.¹ He married, secondly, Euphemia Jamina Murray, daughter of Brig.-Gen. John Murray and Maria Pascoe.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Anne Annesley, daughter of Hon. Robert Annesley and Mary Anne Gandon, on 5 July 1820 at Antwerp, Belgium.¹ He died on 5 May 1877 at age 86.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Cowell-Stepney [U.K.] on 21 September 1871.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)¹ He was appointed Knight, Hanoverian Order (K.H.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Mary Anne Annesley was the daughter of Hon. Robert Annesley and Mary Anne Gandon.¹ She married Sir John Stepney Cowell-Stepney, 1st Bt., son of General Andrew Cowell and Justina Maria Stepney, on 5 July 1820 at Antwerp, Belgium.¹ She died on 9 November 1821.¹
     From 5 July 1820, her married name became Cowell-Stepney.¹

     William Frederick Ross Cowell-Stepney was born on 31 May 1821.¹ He was the son of Sir John Stepney Cowell-Stepney, 1st Bt. and Mary Anne Annesley.¹ He died on 7 November 1872 at age 51.¹

     Euphemia Jamina Murray was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. John Murray and Maria Pascoe.^1,2 She married Sir John Stepney Cowell-Stepney, 1st Bt., son of General Andrew Cowell and Justina Maria Stepney.¹ She died on 3 August 1874.¹
     Her married name became Cowell-Stepney.¹

     William MacDougall was born in 1808.¹ He was the son of Henry MacDougall and Frances Allman.¹ He married Elizabeth Watson circa 1841.¹ He died on 2 May 1875.¹
     He lived at Drumleck House, Howth, County Dublin, Ireland.¹

     Lt.-Col. James Charles Murray Cowell-Stepney was born on 20 September 1824.¹ He was the son of Sir John Stepney Cowell-Stepney, 1st Bt. and Euphemia Jamina Murray.¹ He died on 5 November 1854 at age 30 at Inkerman, Crimea, Russia^G, killed in action.¹
     He held the office of Page of Honour to King William IV.¹ He held the office of Page of Honour to HM Queen Victoria.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He fought in the Battle of Crimea.¹

     William George Stepney Cowell was born circa 1803.¹ He was the son of General Andrew Cowell and Justina Maria Stepney.¹ He married Mary Tomkyns, daughter of Reverend Pakington George Tomkyns.¹
     He lived at The Park, Brighton, Sussex, England.¹

     Mary Tomkyns was born circa 1807 at Buckenhill Park, Herefordshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Pakington George Tomkyns.¹ She married William George Stepney Cowell, son of General Andrew Cowell and Justina Maria Stepney.¹ She died after 1891.¹
     Her married name became Cowell.¹
