     Captain Duncan McNeill was the son of Alexander McNeill.2 He married Fanny Charlotte Emma Talbot, daughter of Rear-Admiral Sir Charles Talbot and Hon. Charlotte Georgiana Ponsonby, on 6 June 1861.2 He died on 10 June 1924.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Scots Greys.2 He lived at Colonsay, Argyllshire, ScotlandG.1
