     Maj.-Gen. John Malcolm McNeill was born on 22 February 1909. He is the son of Brig.-Gen. Angus John McNeill and Lilian Vaughan Barron. He married Barbara Marsh, daughter of Colonel C. H. Marsh, in 1939.
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1

     Donald Torquil McNeill was born on 25 April 1878. He was the son of Captain Duncan McNeill and Fanny Charlotte Emma Talbot. He married Ida Logan on 8 July 1899. He died on 23 December 1910 at age 32.

     Fanny Cecil Talbot McNeill was the daughter of Captain Duncan McNeill and Fanny Charlotte Emma Talbot.1 She married Arthur Richard de Capell Brooke, 1st and last Baron Brooke of Oakley, son of Sir Richard Lewis de Capell Brooke, 4th Bt. and Mary Grace Trollope, on 25 February 1897.1 She died on 1 November 1942.1
     Her married name became de Capell Brooke. After her marriage, Fanny Cecil Talbot McNeill was styled as Baroness Brooke of Oakley on 4 July 1939.

     Arthur Richard de Capell Brooke, 1st and last Baron Brooke of Oakley was born on 12 October 1869.1 He was the son of Sir Richard Lewis de Capell Brooke, 4th Bt. and Mary Grace Trollope.1 He married Fanny Cecil Talbot McNeill, daughter of Captain Duncan McNeill and Fanny Charlotte Emma Talbot, on 25 February 1897.1 He died on 17 November 1944 at age 75, without issue.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Brooke on 3 February 1892. He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1893 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Rutland in 1899.2 He stood three times unsuccessfully for the seat of Northamptonshire, East Division.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Northamptonshire Regiment.2 He fought in the Boer War in 1902.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)2 He gained the rank of Honorary Major.2 He was created 1st Baron Brooke of Oakley, of Oakley, co. Northumpton [U.K.] on 4 July 1939.1
     On his death, his barony became extinct.1

     Her married name became Tarratt. Her married name became Rogers.
