Bertram Frankland Frankland-Russell-Astley was born on 27 February 1857.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Francis L'Estrange Astley and Rosalind Alicia Frankland.2 He married Lady Florence Conyngham, daughter of General George Henry Conyngham, 3rd Marquess Conyngham and Lady Jane St. Maur Blanche Stanhope, on 30 April 1887.1 He died on 11 February 1904 at age 46.2
