     Charlotte Laura Astley was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Francis L'Estrange Astley and Charlotte Micklethwaite.1 She married Hon. Graham Edward Henry Manners-Sutton, son of Sir John Henry Thomas Manners-Sutton, 3rd Viscount Canterbury and Georgiana Tompson, on 12 February 1867.1 She died on 18 November 1905.
     Her married name became Manners-Sutton.

     Lt.-Col. Francis L'Estrange Astley was born on 27 February 1810. He was the son of Sir Jacob Henry Astley, 5th Bt. and Hester Browne. He married, firstly, Charlotte Micklethwaite, daughter of Nathaniel Micklethwaite and Maria Wilhelmina Waldegrave, on 28 July 1836. He married, secondly, Rosalind Alicia Frankland, daughter of Sir Robert Frankland-Russell, 7th Bt., on 7 September 1854. He died on 9 April 1866 at age 56.
     Lt.-Col. Francis L'Estrange Astley lived at Burgh Hall, Norfolk, England.

     Her married name became Manners-Sutton. As a result of her marriage, Amye Rachel Walpole was styled as Viscountess Canterbury on 23 June 1877.

     Commander Hon. Frederick Walpole was born on 18 September 1822.2 He was the son of Horatio Walpole, 3rd Earl of Orford and Mary Fawkener.2 He married Laura Sophia Frances Walpole, daughter of Francis Walpole and Elizabeth Knight, on 12 February 1852.2 He died on 1 April 1876 at age 53.2
     Commander Hon. Frederick Walpole gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for North Norfolk.2

Graham Edward Henry Manners-Sutton and Charlotte Laura Astley.1 He married Ethelwyn Hindle, daughter of Charles Hindle, on 15 June 1903.1 He died on 26 February 1941 at age 69, without male issue.2
     Charles Graham Manners-Sutton, 6th Viscount Canterbury fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Submarine Miners, Royal Engineers.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918.1 He succeeded to the title of 6th Viscount Canterbury, of the City of Canterbury [U.K., 1835] on 22 October 1918.1 He succeeded to the title of 6th Baron Bottesford of Bottesford, co. Leicester [U.K., 1835] on 22 October 1918.1
     On his death, the Viscountcy of Canterbury and Barony Bottesford of Bottesford became extinct.1
