     Lord Henry FitzGerald was born on 9 August 1863.2 He was the son of Charles William FitzGerald, 4th Duke of Leinster and Lady Caroline Leveson-Gower.2 He married Inez Charlotte Grace Boteler, daughter of Captain William John Casberd Boteler, on 21 January 1891.2 He died on 31 May 1955 at age 91.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He gained the rank of Captain and Honorary Major in the service of the 4th Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment.2 He was Assistant to the Colonel in charge of Recrods between 1916 and 1919.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Suffolk.2
