Sir Richard Fanshawe, 1st Bt. was baptised on 12 June 1608. He was the son of Sir Henry Fanshawe and Elizabeth Smythe. He married Anne Harrison, daughter of Sir John Harrison, on 18 May 1644. He died on 16 June 1666 at age 58.
