     Reverend Edward Herries was the son of Thomas Herries and Mary Philips.1 He married Lucy Blythe Turner, daughter of Thomas Blythe Turner and Mary Milner.1 He died in 1812.1
     He was Rector between 1763 and 1782 at Hanwood, Shropshire, EnglandG.1 In 1771 he rebuilt the manion of Cruckton House.1
