     Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 2nd Bt. was born on 29 December 1826.1 He was the son of Thomas Barrett-Lennard and Mary Shedden.1 He married Emma Wood, daughter of Reverend Sir John Page Wood, 2nd Bt. and Emma Caroline Michell, on 18 January 1853.1 He died on 16 January 1919 at age 92.1
     He graduated from St. Peter's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Barrett-Lennard, of Belhus, Essex [U.K., 1801] on 25 June 1857.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Essex in 1865.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Monaghan in 1868.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Monaghan in 1900.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Essex.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Essex.1

     Emma Wood was the daughter of Reverend Sir John Page Wood, 2nd Bt. and Emma Caroline Michell.1 She married Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 2nd Bt., son of Thomas Barrett-Lennard and Mary Shedden, on 18 January 1853.1 She died on 8 June 1916.1
      From 18 January 1853, her married name became Barrett-Lennard.2

Reverend Sir John Page Wood, 2nd Bt.1

     Reverend Sir John Page Wood, 2nd Bt. was born on 25 August 1796.2 He was the son of Sir Matthew Wood, 1st Bt. and Maria Page.2 He married Emma Caroline Michell, daughter of Admiral Sampson Michell and Ann Shears, on 16 February 1820.2 He died on 21 February 1866 at age 69.2
     He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Wood, of Hatherley House, co. Gloucester [U.K., 1837] on 25 September 1843.2 He was the Vicar at Cressing, Essex, England.2 He was the Rector at St. Peter's, Cornhill, London, England.2

     Emma Caroline Michell was born on 15 January 1802 at Lisbon, Portugal.1 She was the daughter of Admiral Sampson Michell and Ann Shears.1 She married Reverend Sir John Page Wood, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Matthew Wood, 1st Bt. and Maria Page, on 16 February 1820.2 She died on 15 December 1879 at age 77.2
      From 16 February 1820, her married name became Wood.2

     Admiral Sampson Michell was born in 1755 at Croft West, Truro, Cornwall, England. He was the son of Thomas Michell and Jane Sprey. He married Ann Shears. He died on 20 January 1809 at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
     He gained the rank of officer in the service of the Royal Navy (R.N.).1 He gained the rank of Admiral in 1790 in the service of the Portugese Navy.

     Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 3rd Bt. was born on 25 October 1853.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 2nd Bt. and Emma Wood.1 He married Mary Price, daughter of Rev. Canon William Price, on 21 June 1884.1 He died on 19 September 1923 at age 69, without issue.1
     He was admitted to Middle Temple entitled to practice as a Barrister-at-Law.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Barrett-Lennard, of Belhus, Essex [U.K., 1801] on 16 January 1919.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Essex.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Essex.1
