Lt.-Col. John Barrett-Lennard was born on 14 December 1863.1 He was the son of Walter James Barrett-Lennard and Caroline Dormer.1 He married Mary Emma Gardiner, daughter of J. Gardiner, on 20 October 1887.1 He died on 29 March 1935 at age 71.1
Lt.-Col. John Barrett-Lennard gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the General List.1 He fought in the Boer War in 1900.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was decorated with the Legion of Honour.1 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1

Reverend Dacre Fiennes Barrett-Lennard was born on 16 August 1888. He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Barrett-Lennard and Mary Emma Gardiner.1 He married, firstly, Charlotte Dorothy Evelyn Bampton, daughter of Reverend Henry Chichele Bampton and Maria Keppel, in 1919. He married, secondly, Irene Phyllis Moss, daughter of Mark Moss, on 20 July 1940.1 He died in 1975.1
