     Francis Philip Champion de Crespigny was born on 28 May 1918.1 He was the son of Francis Champion de Crespigny and Beatrix Noel Court.1 He married Jean Buckwell in June 1943.2 He died on 20 September 2010 at age 92.1
     He was educated at Melbourne University, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.1 He was a general practitioner at Ararat, Victoria, Australia.1 He was Mayor of Ararat between 1955 and 1957.1
