Sir Constantine Trent Champion de Crespigny was born on 5 March 1882 at Queenscliff, Victoria, Australia.1 He was the son of Philip Champion de Crespigny and Annie Frances Chauncy.1 He married, firstly, Beatrix Hughes on 11 September 1906 at Beaufort, Victoria, Australia.1 He married Mary Birks Jolley on 13 December 1945 at St. Peter's Cathedral.1 He died on 27 October 1952 at age 70 at Adelaide, South Australia, Australia.1
     He was educated at Trinity College, Melbourne, Victoria, AustraliaG.1 He was commander of the 1st Australian General Hospital between 1916 and 1917.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Physicians, London (F.R.C.P.) in 1929.1 He was appointed Knight in 1941.1 He was president, Royal Australian College of Physicians between 1942 and 1944.1
