     Gertrude Alice Clabby was the daughter of William George Clabby.2 She married, firstly, Captain Charles Cadwaladr Trevor-Roper, son of George Edward Trevor-Roper and Harriette Trevor-Roper, on 8 April 1913. She married, secondly, Major Robert Hugh Poyntz, son of Reverend Newdigate Poyntz and Margaret Julia Sweeting, on 24 February 1925.1 She died on 28 February 1962.1
     From 8 April 1913, her married name became Trevor-Roper. From 24 February 1925, her married name became Poyntz.

     Major Robert Hugh Poyntz was born on 10 October 1883.1 He was the son of Reverend Newdigate Poyntz and Margaret Julia Sweeting.2,1 He married Gertrude Alice Clabby, daughter of William George Clabby, on 24 February 1925.1 He died on 11 October 1931 at age 48.1
     Major Robert Hugh Poyntz was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the King's Shropshire Light Infantry.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918.1 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.).1 He was an Adjutant at Royal Hospital, Chelsea, London, England.1

     F/Lt. Richard Dacre Trevor-Roper was born on 19 May 1915. He was the son of Captain Charles Cadwaladr Trevor-Roper and Gertrude Alice Clabby. He married Patricia Audrey Edwards, daughter of Richard Barrie Edwards, on 5 September 1942. He died on 31 March 1944 at age 28, killed in action over Germany.
     F/Lt. Richard Dacre Trevor-Roper was decorated with the award of Distinguished Flying Medal (D.F.M.). He was decorated with the award of Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.). He fought in the Second World War. He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Air Force.
