     Admiral of the Fleet Bruce Austin Fraser, 1st Baron Fraser of North Cape was born on 5 February 1888.1 He was the son of General Alexander Fraser and Monica Stores Smith.2 He died on 12 February 1981 at age 93, unmarried.2
     He was educated at Bradfield College, Reading, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.1 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King Geoge VI in 1936.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1939.1 He held the office of Third Sea Lord between 1939 and 1942.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1941.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1943.1 He was Commander-in-Chief of the Home Fleet between 1943 and 1944.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) in 1944.1 He was Commander-in-Chief of the Eastern Fleet in 1944.1 He was Commander-in-Chief of the British Pacific Fleet between 1944 and 1946.1 He was created 1st Baron Fraser of North Cape, of Molesey, co. Surrey [U.K.] on 19 September 1946.1 He was Commander-in-Chief of the Portsmouth between 1947 and 1948.1 He held the office of First Sea Lord between 1948 and 1951.1 On his death his title became extinct.2

General Alexander Fraser 1
     General Alexander Fraser was born on 8 May 1824 at Prestbury, Gloucestershire, England.1 He married Caroline Rosetta Small, daughter of Beaumont Dixie Small, in 1846.1 He and Caroline Rosetta Small were separated in 1860.1 He died on 10 June 1898 at age 74 at Rochford, Essex, England.1
     He gained the rank of General in the Royal Engineers.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He was educated at Addiscombe Military Academy, Addiscombe, Surrey, England.1
