Rt. Hon. Henry Cecil Raikes was born on 25 November 1838.2 He was the son of Henry Raikes and Lucy Charlotte Wrangham.2 He married Charlotte Blanche Trevor-Roper, daughter of Charles Blayney Trevor-Roper and Mary Knight, on 26 September 1861.3 He died on 24 August 1891 at age 52.
