     Very Rev. John Bayly was born on 28 July 1747.1 He was the son of Lambert Bayly and Elizabeth Rotton.1 He married Mary Wall, daughter of William Wall, on 22 September 1772.1 He died on 24 June 1831 at age 83.1
     Very Rev. John Bayly graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.).1 He held the office of Dean of Killaloe.1
