     Sir Arthur Hopton was born in 1488.1 He was the son of Sir George Hopton.1 He married, firstly, Maud Dymoke, daughter of Sir Robert Dymoke and Anne Cresmore.1 He married, secondly, Anne Owen, daughter of Sir David Owen.1 He died in August 1555.1
     He was appointed Knight on 13 October 1513.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Suffolk between 1539 and 1542.1

     Sir John Reresby, 2nd Bt. was born on 14 April 1634.1 He was the son of Sir John Reresby, 1st Bt. and Frances Yarburgh.1 He married Frances Browne, daughter of William Browne, on 9 March 1665.1 He died on 12 May 1689 at age 55.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Reresby [E., 1642] on 21 April 1646. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Aldborough in 1675.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Aldborough in 1679.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Aldborough in 1681.1 He held the office of Governor of York between 1682 and 1688.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for York in 1685.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1688 in the Militia Foot.1 He lived at Thrybergh, Yorkshire, England.1
