     Lady Susan Montagu was the daughter of Henry Montagu, 1st Earl of Manchester and Margaret Crouch.1 She married George Brydges, 6th Baron Chandos of Sudeley, son of Sir Grey Brydges, 5th Baron Chandos of Sudeley and Lady Anne Stanley, on 14 December 1637 at Totteridge, Hertfordshire, England.1 She died circa April 1652.1 She was buried on 20 April 1652 at Harefield, Middlesex, England.1
     As a result of her marriage, Lady Susan Montagu was styled as Baroness Chandos of Sudeley on 14 December 1637. From 14 December 1637, her married name became Brydges.1

     James Gordon Caulfeild usually went by his middle name of Gordon.3
