     Constantine Theobald Francis Dillon gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 3rd Battalion, Worcestershire Regiment.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.¹ He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1902.¹

     Philip Gerald Dillon was born on 23 January 1848.¹ He was the son of Hon. Constantine Augustus Dillon and Fanny Dorothea Story.¹ He married Constance Charlotte Monro, daughter of Sir David Monro, in June 1876.¹ He died on 4 March 1890 at age 42.¹

     Constance Charlotte Monro was the daughter of Sir David Monro.¹ She married Philip Gerald Dillon, son of Hon. Constantine Augustus Dillon and Fanny Dorothea Story, in June 1876.¹ She died on 31 March 1910.¹
