     Jenico William Richard Preston, 16th Viscount Gormanston was born on 7 October 1914.1 He was the son of Jenico Edward Joseph Preston, 15th Viscount Gormanston and Eileen Butler.1 He married Pamela Hanly, daughter of Captain Edward Dudley Hanly and Lady Marjorie Mary Winifrede Feilding, on 18 February 1939.1 He died on 9 June 1940 at age 25 at FranceG, killed in action.1
     He succeeded as the 16th Viscount Gormanston [I., 1478] on 7 November 1925.1 He succeeded as the 19th Lord Preston of Gormanston [I., 1370] on 7 November 1925.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Gormanston of Whitewood, co. Meath [U.K., 1868] on 7 November 1925.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.1

     Pamela Hanly is the daughter of Captain Edward Dudley Hanly and Lady Marjorie Mary Winifrede Feilding.1 She married, firstly, Jenico William Richard Preston, 16th Viscount Gormanston, son of Jenico Edward Joseph Preston, 15th Viscount Gormanston and Eileen Butler, on 18 February 1939.1 She married, secondly, Maurice Bernard O'Connor, son of Beranard Maurice O'Connor, on 23 December 1943.1
     After her marriage, Pamela Hanly was styled as Viscountess Gormanston on 18 February 1939. From 18 February 1939, her married name became Preston. From 23 December 1943, her married name became O'Connor.

Hanly.1 He married Lady Marjorie Mary Winifrede Feilding, daughter of Rudolph Robert Basil Aloysius Augustine Feilding, 9th Earl of Denbigh and Hon. Cecilia Mary Clifford, on 18 January 1915.1 He and Lady Marjorie Mary Winifrede Feilding were divorced in 1923.1 He died on 17 December 1951.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.1
