Sir Carbery Pryse, 4th Bt.1

     Sir Carbery Pryse, 4th Bt. was the son of Carbery Pryse and Hester Whitlock.1 He died on 20 May 1694, without issue.1,2
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Pryse, of Gogerthan, co. Glamorgan [E., 1641] in May 1682.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cardiganshire in 1689.1 In 1690 mines of great value were discovered on his estates. These were developed by him and his partners.1 On his death his baronetcy became extinct.1

     Margaret Loveden was born on 22 August 1775.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward Lovenden Loveden and Margaret Pryse.1 She married Reverend Samuel Warneford on 27 September 1796.1 She died on 4 April 1840 at age 64.1
     From 27 September 1796, her married name became Warneford.1

     He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Cardiganshire.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cardigan between 1857 and 1868.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 6th Dragoon Guards.1 He lived at Peithyll, Aberystwyth, Cardiganshire, Wales.1
