     Group Commander Richard George Shaw was the son of Sir Walter Shaw.¹ He married Corise Helen Margaret Rankin, daughter of Sir Robert Rankin, 1st Bt. and Renee Helen Mary Baker, on 4 March 1944.¹ He died on 23 October 1954.¹
     He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.)¹ He gained the rank of Group Commander in the Royal Auxiliary Air Force.¹

     Cecile Elizabeth Florence Rankin is the daughter of Sir Robert Rankin, 1st Bt. and Renee Helen Mary Baker.¹ She married Air Commodore John Grandy, son of Francis Grandy, on 1 September 1937.¹
     From 1 September 1937, her married name became Grandy.¹

     Air Commodore John Grandy is the son of Francis Grandy.¹ He married Cecile Elizabeth Florence Rankin, daughter of Sir Robert Rankin, 1st Bt. and Renee Helen Mary Baker, on 1 September 1937.¹
     He gained the rank of Air Commodore in the Royal Air Force.¹ He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹
