     Richard Trench was born on 16 November 1808.2 He was the son of Very Rev. Thomas Trench and Mary Weldon.2,3 He married Elizabeth Susanna Townsend, daughter of John Sealy Townsend and Anne Hancock, on 9 April 1832.2 He died in 1872.2
     Richard Trench was also known as William Steuart Trench.2
