     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Monmouthsire.¹ He held the office of JJustice of the Peace (J.P.) for Newport.¹ He was director of Port Talbot Railway and Docks Company.¹ He was director of Pyman, Watson & Company.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Monmouthshire in 1911.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Watson, of Newport, co. Monmouth [U.K.] on 13 February 1918.¹

     Sir Wilfrid Hood Watson, 2nd Bt. was born on 23 July 1875.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Edward Watson, 1st Bt. and Mary Elizabeth Harrison.¹ He died on 31 January 1922 at age 46, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Watson, of Newport, co. Monmouth [U.K., 1918] on 1 May 1921.¹

     Edward Watson was born on 7 February 1826.¹ He was the son of Joseph Watson and Sarah Hornby.¹ He married Agnes Jervoise Miller, daughter of Thomas Miller, on 5 May 1850.¹ He died on 28 September 1892 at age 66.¹
     He lived at West Hartlepool, County Durham, England.¹
