     Constance Maud Slade was the daughter of Sir Alfred Frederic Adolphus Slade, 3rd Bt. and Mary Constance Cuthbert. She died in June 1941.

     Lt.-Col. William Wallace Smith Smith-Cuninghame was born on 18 May 1889. He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Anstruther Smith-Cuninghame and Violet Mary Slade. He married, firstly, Ella Fergusson on 8 August 1918. He married, secondly, Lady Marjorie Joan Mary Wentworth-Fitzwilliam, daughter of William Charles de Meuron FitzWilliam, 7th Earl FitzWilliam and Lady Maud Frederica Elizabeth Dundas, on 6 October 1949. He died on 5 July 1959 at age 70.
     Lt.-Col. William Wallace Smith Smith-Cuninghame lived at Caprington.

He married Lady Marjorie Joan Mary Wentworth-Fitzwilliam, daughter of William Charles de Meuron FitzWilliam, 7th Earl FitzWilliam and Lady Maud Frederica Elizabeth Dundas, on 4 October 1925. He and Lady Marjorie Joan Mary Wentworth-Fitzwilliam were divorced in 1949.
     Lt.-Col. Sir Grismond Picton Philipps lived at Cwmgwili, Carmarthenshire, Wales.
