     Sir Vincent Ziani de Ferranti was born on 16 February 1893.1 He was the son of Dr. Sebastian Ziani de Ferranti and Gertrude Ruth Ince.1 He married Dorothy Hettie C. Wilson, daughter of Reginald Page Wilson, on 25 October 1919. He died on 20 May 1980 at age 87.1
     Sir Vincent Ziani de Ferranti gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Engineers.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.).1 He lived at Rose Hill, over Alderley Edge, Cheshire, England. He was chairman of Ferranti Ltd between 1930 and 1963.1 He held the office of President of the Institution of Electrical Engineers between 1946 and 1947.1 He was invested as a Knight in 1948.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.).1 He lived at Henbury Hall, Macclesfield, Cheshire, England.1

     Dr. Sebastian Ziani de Ferranti was invested as a Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.).1 He was the head of Ferranti Ltd at Hollinwood, Manchester, Lancashire, England.1 He held the office of President of the Institution of Electrical Engineers between 1910 and 1911.1 He lived at Baslow Hall, Baslow, Derbyshire, England.1

     Dorothy Hettie C. Wilson was born on 13 August 1895.1 She was the daughter of Reginald Page Wilson. She married Sir Vincent Ziani de Ferranti, son of Dr. Sebastian Ziani de Ferranti and Gertrude Ruth Ince, on 25 October 1919. She died in January 1993 at age 97 at Cuckfield, Sussex, England.1
     Her married name became de Ferranti.
