Sir Vincent Ziani de Ferranti was born on 16 February 1893.1 He was the son of Dr. Sebastian Ziani de Ferranti and Gertrude Ruth Ince.1 He married Dorothy Hettie C. Wilson, daughter of Reginald Page Wilson, on 25 October 1919. He died on 20 May 1980 at age 87.1
He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Engineers.1 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.).1 He lived at Rose Hill, over Alderley Edge, Cheshire, England.
