She is the daughter of Major Sir Henry Richard Allsopp, 5th Baron Hindlip and Cecily Valentine Jane Borwick.1 She married Hugh Robert Myddelton, son of Lt.-Col. Ririd Myddelton and Lady Mary Margaret Elizabeth Petty-FitzMaurice, on 27 July 1967.1 She and Hugh Robert Myddelton were divorced.1
     From 27 July 1967, her married name became Myddelton.1
