     Edmund Rushworth Abbott was born in 1866.2 He married Emily Beatrice Abney Sandys, daughter of Captain Henry Stair Sandys and Frances Beatrice Abney, in 1892.2 He died on 7 December 1953 at Hove, Sussex, England.2
     He was a solicitor.1 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.).2
