Maria Grathwohl was born on 1 February 1837 at Weikersheim, Germany.1 She was the daughter of Georg Andreas Grathwohl and Friederike Meyer.1 She married Carl Ludwig Wilhelm Leopold Prinz zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg, son of Ernst Christian Carl IV Fürst zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg and Anna Feodorovna Auguste Charlotte Wilhelmine Prinzessin zu Leiningen, on 22 February 1861 at Paris, France, in a morganatic marriage.1 She died on 19 May 1901 at age 64 at Salzburg, Austria.1
