Augusta Wilhelmina Louisa Fremantle was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Fremantle and Agnes Lyon.1 She married Lt.-Gen. Julian Hamilton Hall, son of Sir John Hall of Dunglass, 5th Bt. and Julia Walker, on 6 July 1864.1 She died on 1 March 1906.1

Maj.-Gen. John Fremantle was born on 17 January 1790.1 He was the son of Colonel Stephen Francis William Fremantle and Albinia Jane Jefferyes.1 He married Agnes Lyon, daughter of David Lyon, on 17 January 1829.1 He died before 1864.
Maj.-Gen. John Fremantle fought in the Peninsular Wars, as Aide-de-Camp to the Duke of Wellington.1 He fought in the Battle of Waterloo in 1815.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Coldstream Guards.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1 He gained the rank of Major-General.1
