     Augusta Wilhelmina Louisa Fremantle was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Fremantle and Agnes Lyon.1 She married Lt.-Gen. Julian Hamilton Hall, son of Sir John Hall of Dunglass, 5th Bt. and Julia Walker, on 6 July 1864.1 She died on 1 March 1906.1
     Her married name became Hall.

     Maj.-Gen. John Fremantle was born on 17 January 1790.1 He was the son of Colonel Stephen Francis William Fremantle and Albinia Jane Jefferyes.1 He married Agnes Lyon, daughter of David Lyon, on 17 January 1829.1 He died before 1864.
     Maj.-Gen. John Fremantle fought in the Peninsular Wars, as Aide-de-Camp to the Duke of Wellington.1 He fought in the Battle of Waterloo in 1815.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Coldstream Guards.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1 He gained the rank of Major-General.1

     Agnes Lyon was the daughter of David Lyon.1 She married Maj.-Gen. John Fremantle, son of Colonel Stephen Francis William Fremantle and Albinia Jane Jefferyes, on 17 January 1829.1 She died on 20 February 1864.1
     Her married name became Fremantle.

     Commnander Charles Maurice Elton Gifford, 5th Baron Gifford was born on 4 March 1899. He was the son of Hon. Maurice Raymond Gifford and Marguerite Thorold. He married Ellice Margaret Allen, daughter of Arthur Wigram Allen, on 5 March 1939. He died on 16 April 1961 at age 62.
     Commnander Charles Maurice Elton Gifford, 5th Baron Gifford gained the title of 5th Baron Gifford. He gained the rank of Commnader in the service of the Royal Navy.
