     Maj.-Gen. Hugh Wharton Myddleton Watson was the son of Maj.-Gen. J. C. Watson.1 He married Lydia Gladys Adams, daughter of Henry Adams, on 15 April 1912.1 He died on 23 March 1938.
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1

     James Malcolm was born on 10 October 1804. He was the son of William Malcolm and Margaret Cormack.1 He married, firstly, Caroline Nesbit Wilkie, daughter of Reverend Daniel Wilkie.1 He married, secondly, Adeline Attye, daughter of James Attye and Catherine Adeline Welby, on 1 February 1860.1 He died on 16 July 1878 at age 73.

     Sir James William Malcolm, 9th Bt. was born on 29 March 1862. He was the son of James Malcolm and Adeline Attye.1 He married Evelyn Alberta Sandeman, daughter of Albert George Sandeman, on 14 November 1885.1 He died on 30 April 1927 at age 65.
     He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Malcolm, of Balbedie and Innertiel in the County of Fife [N.S., 1665] on 8 June 1901.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Suffolk.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Pembrokeshire Artillery Militia.1 He was Administrative Assistant, Ministry of Munitions, during the First World War.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk.1

     Arthur William Alexander Malcolm was born on 31 May 1903.1 He was the son of Major Charles Edward Malcolm and Hon. Beatrice Mary Leslie Hore-Ruthven.1 He married Mary Hester Mann, daughter of Samuel Furneaux Mann, on 11 September 1928.1 He died on 18 March 1989 at age 85 at Sandwich, Kent, England.1,2
     He was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, England.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of Victoria.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he became a POW.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Welsh Guards.1 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1949.1 He was Assistant Military Attache to Paris between 1950 and 1952.1 He was Private Secretary to the Governor of South Australia between 1953 and 1955.1 He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1954.1 He was Queen's Messenger between 1955 and 1989.1

     Mary Hester Mann was the daughter of Samuel Furneaux Mann.1 She married Arthur William Alexander Malcolm, son of Major Charles Edward Malcolm and Hon. Beatrice Mary Leslie Hore-Ruthven, on 11 September 1928.1 She died in 1992.1
     Her married name became Malcolm.

     Colonel Sir James William Thomas Alexander Malcolm of Balbedie, 12th Bt. was born on 15 May 1930.1 He was the son of Arthur William Alexander Malcolm and Mary Hester Mann.1 He married Gillian Heather Humpherus, daughter of Elton Henry Humpherus, on 30 August 1955.1 He died on 4 September 2012 at age 82.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He was Colonel of the Welsh Guards between 1972 and 1976.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Surrey between 1991 and 1992.1 He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Malcolm, of Balbedie and Innertiel in the County of Fife [N.S., 1665] on 30 November 1995.1
