     Robert Horace Powys was born on 21 June 1826. He was the son of Robert Vernon Powys and Jane Beckett. He married Ellen Elizabeth Budd, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Henry Budd, on 4 December 1856. He died on 17 September 1913 at age 87.

     Ellen Elizabeth Budd was the daughter of Lt.-Col. William Henry Budd. She married Robert Horace Powys, son of Robert Vernon Powys and Jane Beckett, on 4 December 1856. She died on 10 July 1916.
     Her married name became Powys.

     Vernon George Powys, 7th Baron Lilford was born on 8 January 1931. He was the son of Robert Horace Powys and Vera Grace Bryant. He married, firstly, Eveline (?) in July 1954. He and Eveline (?) were divorced before June 1957. He married, secondly, Anuta Merritt, daughter of L. F. Merritt, on 29 June 1957. He and Anuta Merritt were divorced before September 1958. He married, thirdly, Norma Yvonne Shell, daughter of V. Shell, on 12 September 1958. He and Norma Yvonne Shell were divorced in 1961. He married, fourthly, Muriel Norma Cooke on 23 December 1961. He married, fifthly, Margaret Penman in 1969. He died on 3 January 2005 at age 73.1
     Vernon George Powys, 7th Baron Lilford gained the title of 7th Baron Lilford.
