     Virginia Prinzessin zu Fürstenberg was born on 18 April 1940 at Rome, Italy.1 She is the daughter of Tassilo Prinz zu Fürstenberg and Clara Agnelli.2,3 She married, firstly, Alfonso Maximiliano de Hohenlohe-Langenburg, son of Max Egon Maria Erwin Paul Prinz zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg and Doña Maria de la Piedad Iturbe y Scholtz, Marquesa de Belvis de las Navas, on 17 September 1955 at Venice, Italy.1 She and Alfonso Maximiliano de Hohenlohe-Langenburg were divorced on 14 December 1960 at Mexico City, Mexico.2 She married, secondly, Francisco Pignatari on 12 January 1961 at Reno, Nevada, U.S.A..2 She and Francisco Pignatari were divorced in January 1964 at Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A..2 Virginia and Alfonso Maximiliano were remarried in a religious ceremony on 21 September 1955.1
     Virginia Prinzessin zu Fürstenberg also went by the nick-name of Ira.1 Her marriage to Alfonso Maximiliano de Hohenlohe-Langenburg was annulled in 1969.1
