     Nina Caroline Ogilvie-Grant, Countess of Seafield was born on 17 April 1906. She was the daughter of Sir James Ogilvie-Grant, 11th Earl of Seafield and Mary Elizabeth Nina Townend. She married Derek Herbert Ogilvie-Grant-Studley-Herbert, son of John Studley and Beatrice Frances de Chair, on 24 January 1930. She and Derek Herbert Ogilvie-Grant-Studley-Herbert were divorced in 1957. She died in 1969.
     Nina Caroline Ogilvie-Grant, Countess of Seafield gained the title of 12th Countess of Seafield, suo jure.

     Derek Herbert Ogilvie-Grant-Studley-Herbert was the son of John Studley and Beatrice Frances de Chair. He married Nina Caroline Ogilvie-Grant, Countess of Seafield, daughter of Sir James Ogilvie-Grant, 11th Earl of Seafield and Mary Elizabeth Nina Townend, on 24 January 1930. He and Nina Caroline Ogilvie-Grant, Countess of Seafield were divorced in 1957. He died on 26 March 1960.
     Derek Herbert Ogilvie-Grant-Studley-Herbert was baptised with the name of Derek Herbert Studley.1 On 1939 his name was legally changed to Derek Herbert Ogilvie-Grant-Studley-Herbert by Deed Poll.1

     Ian Derek Francis Studley, 13th Earl of Seafield was born on 20 March 1939. He is the son of Derek Herbert Ogilvie-Grant-Studley-Herbert and Nina Caroline Ogilvie-Grant, Countess of Seafield. He married, firstly, Mary Dawn Mackenzie Illingworth, daughter of Henry George Coats Illingworth and Violet Dawn Gold, on 5 October 1960. He and Mary Dawn Mackenzie Illingworth were divorced in 1971. He married, secondly, Leila Refaat, daughter of Mahmoud Refaat, in 1971.
     Ian Derek Francis Studley, 13th Earl of Seafield gained the title of 13th Earl of Seafield.
