     Lieutenant Philip Arthur Flower was born in 1875 at Luton The Hyde, Buckinghamshire, England.2,3 He was the son of Arthur Flower and Isabel Margaretta Cokayne Pauncefort-Duncombe.2 He married Nina Banbury, daughter of George Banbury and Nina Beale, on 6 July 1903.1 He died on 21 April 1910.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the The Buffs.1

     Nina Banbury was the daughter of George Banbury and Nina Beale.1 She married, firstly, Lieutenant Philip Arthur Flower, son of Arthur Flower and Isabel Margaretta Cokayne Pauncefort-Duncombe, on 6 July 1903.1 She married, secondly, Francis William Murray Sturges, son of Canon Edward Sturges and Jane Murray, on 17 October 1912.1 She died on 13 November 1952.1
     From 6 July 1903, her married name became Flower. From 17 October 1912, her married name became Sturges.
