     Lt.-Col. David Alexander Keppel Legge was born on 7 January 1916.¹ He was the son of John Augustus Legge and Grace Margaret Dunsmure.¹ He married Patria Hornung, daughter of Lt.-Col. Charles Bernard Raphel Hornung, on 2 December 1944.¹ He died on 1 April 2001 at age 85.¹
     Lt.-Col. David Alexander Keppel Legge was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Fusiliers.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.¹ He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1953.¹ He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1970.¹

     Thomas Charles Legge was born on 11 September 1872.¹ He was the son of Hon. Charles Gounter Legge and Mary Garnier.¹ He married Ivy Emily Reed, daughter of J. Reed, on 22 April 1903.¹ He died in 1949.¹
     Thomas Charles Legge gained the rank of Honorary Lieutenant in the service of the 3rd Battalion, Imperial Yeomanry.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.¹ He was with the Forest Department, Transvaal.¹
