     Major Henry Dudley Ryder was born on 30 November 1894.¹ He was the son of Hon. Edward Alan Dudley Ryder and Lady Mary Maud Anson.¹ He married Dorothy Marion Streatfeild, daughter of Sidney Streatfeild, on 21 February 1918.¹ He died on 19 March 1958 at age 63.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Field Artillery.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.).¹ He held the office of Member of the East Sussex County Council in 1944.¹

     Dorothy Marion Streatfeild was born on 8 November 1894.² She was the daughter of Sidney Streatfeild.¹ She married Major Henry Dudley Ryder, son of Hon. Edward Alan Dudley Ryder and Lady Mary Maud Anson, on 21 February 1918.¹
      Her married name became Ryder.

     Edward Dorrien Dudley Ryder was born on 20 August 1924.¹ He was the son of Major Henry Dudley Ryder and Dorothy Marion Streatfeild.¹ He married Valerie Nina Soames, daughter of John Beecroft Soames, on 20 March 1948.¹ He died in 1984.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Irish Guards.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was chairman of Cater Ryder between 1976 and 1984.¹

     Valerie Nina Soames is the daughter of John Beecroft Soames.¹ She married Edward Dorrien Dudley Ryder, son of Major Henry Dudley Ryder and Dorothy Marion Streatfeild, on 20 March 1948.¹
      Her married name became Ryder. She lived in 2003 at 22 St. Mary Abbots Terrace, London, England.¹

     John Beecroft Soames lived at Kenya.¹ John Beecroft Soames also went by the nick-name of Jack.²

     Nicholas Henry Dudley Ryder was born on 10 June 1960.¹ He is the son of Edward Dorrien Dudley Ryder and Valerie Nina Soames.¹

     Jennifer Davina Ryder was born on 19 July 1949.¹ She is the daughter of Edward Dorrien Dudley Ryder and Valerie Nina Soames.¹ She married, firstly, Charles Berkeley Johnston Dingwall on 15 December 1971.¹ She married, secondly, George William Pilkington in 1990.¹
      From 15 December 1971, her married name became Dingwall.¹ From 1990, her married name became Pilkington.¹ She lived in 2003 at Sanfoin House, Wash Common, Newbury, Berkshire, England.¹

     Vanessa Ryder was born on 14 April 1951.¹ She is the daughter of Edward Dorrien Dudley Ryder and Valerie Nina Soames.¹ She married Paul Frederick Irvine Cole, son of Major H. W. Cole, on 13 February 1976.¹
      From 13 February 1976, her married name became Cole.¹ She lived in 2003 at Whatcombe, Wantage, Oxfordshire, England.¹

     Emily Hamilton Ward was born in November 1913.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Robert Ward and Edith Georgina Sheriff.¹ She died in 1915.¹

     Maud Marion Ryder was born on 21 November 1919.¹ She is the daughter of Major Henry Dudley Ryder and Dorothy Marion Streatfeild.¹
