     Ruth Severn Unwin is the daughter of Sir Stanley Unwin and Alice Mary Storr. She married Norman John Lee Brodrick, son of William John Henry Brodrick and Blanche Sophia Emily Hawker, on 2 July 1940.
     Her married name became Brodrick.
