     Kasimir von Anhalt-Dessau was born on 19 January 1749. She was the daughter of Leopold II Maximilian Prinz von Anhalt-Dessau and Gisela Agnes Prinzessin von Anhalt-Köthen. She married Simon August Prinz zur Lippe-Detmold, son of Simon Heinrich Adolf Graf und Edelherr zur Lippe-Detmold 13h Vrijheer van Vianen and Joanna Wilhelmine Prinzessin von Nassau-Idstein, on 9 November 1769. She died on 8 November 1778 at age 29 at Detmold, Germany.

     Leopold I Prinz zur Lippe-Detmold was born on 2 December 1767 at Detmold, Germany. He was the son of Simon August Prinz zur Lippe-Detmold and Marie Leopoldine von Anhalt-Dessau. He married Pauline Prinzessin von Anhalt-Bernburg, daughter of Friedrich Albrecht Prinz von Anhalt-Bernburg and Luise Prinzessin von Holstein-Plön, in 1796. He died on 4 April 1802 at age 34.
     He gained the title of Prinz zur Lippe-Detmold.
