     Emma Lucinda Heywood-Lonsdale was born on 28 June 1962.² She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Robert Henry Heywood-Lonsdale and Jean Helen Rollo. She married Matthew Donald Knight, son of Nicholas P Knight, in 1989.²
