     Ronald John McNeill, 1st and last Baron Cushendun was born on 30 April 1861.1 He was the son of Edmund McNeill and Mary Miller.1 He married Elizabeth Maud Bolitho, daughter of William Bolitho, on 9 October 1884.2 He died on 12 October 1934 at age 73.1
     Ronald John McNeill, 1st and last Baron Cushendun graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1888 entitled to practice as a Barrsiter-at-Law.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kent, St. Austine's Division between 1911 and 1918.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kent, Canterbury Division between 1918 and 1927.1 He held the office of Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs between 1922 and 1924.1 He held the office of Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs between 1924 and 1925.1 He held the office of Finance Secretary to the Treasury between 1925 and 1927.1 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1927.2 He held the office of Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster between 1927 and 1929.2 He was created 1st Baron Cushendun, of Cushendun, co. Antrim [U.K.] on 7 November 1927.1

     Hon. Esther Rose McNeill is the daughter of Ronald John McNeill, 1st and last Baron Cushendun and Elizabeth Maud Bolitho.1 She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. Donald Hugh McNeile on 7 January 1917. She and Lt.-Col. Donald Hugh McNeile were divorced in 1921. She married, secondly, Major Geoffrey Cecil Gilbert McNeill-Moss, son of Captain Gilbert Moss, on 2 March 1922.1
     From 7 January 1917, her married name became McNeile. From 2 March 1922, her married name became Moss.

     Major Geoffrey Cecil Gilbert McNeill-Moss was the son of Captain Gilbert Moss. He married Hon. Esther Rose McNeill, daughter of Ronald John McNeill, 1st and last Baron Cushendun and Elizabeth Maud Bolitho, on 2 March 1922.1 He died on 13 August 1954.
     Major Geoffrey Cecil Gilbert McNeill-Moss lived at Ford Place, Ford, Sussex, England.1 He was baptised with the name of Geoffrey Cecil Gilbert Moss.1 On 8 May 1927 his name was legally changed to Geoffrey Cecil Gilbert McNeill-Moss by Deed Poll.1

     Karl-Josef Freiherr von Ketteler was born in 1934 at Schwarzenraben, Germany. He was the son of Wilderich Friedrich Freiherr von Ketteler and Maria Rosa Freiin von und zu Eltz gennant Faust von Stromberg. He married Alke Lahmann in 1961. He and Alke Lahmann were divorced in 1972. He died on 31 May 2006 at Lippstadt, Germany.1 He was buried at Störmede, Germany.1
