She was the daughter of Cromartie Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, 4th Duke of Sutherland and Lady Millicent Fanny St. Clair-Erskine.1 She married William Humble Eric Ward, 3rd Earl of Dudley, son of William Humble Ward, 2nd Earl of Dudley and Rachel Gurney, on 8 March 1919.1 She died on 21 July 1930 at age 36, killed in a plane crash.1
     Her married name became Ward. She was decorated with the award of Royal Red Cross (R.R.C.).1
