     Anne Hay-Mackenzie, Countess of Cromartie was born on 21 April 1829.¹ She was the daughter of John Hay-Mackenzie and Anne Gibson-Craig.¹ She married George Granville William Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, 3rd Duke of Sutherland, son of George Granville Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, 2nd Duke of Sutherland and Lady Harriet Elizabeth Georgiana Howard, on 27 June 1849 at Cliefden House, Taplow, Buckinghamshire, England.^1,2 She died on 25 November 1888 at age 59 at Stafford House, St. James's, London, England.^3,4 She was buried at Babbacombe Cemetery, Babbacombe, Devon, England.³
     As a result of her marriage, Anne Hay-Mackenzie, Countess of Cromartie was styled as Duchess of Sutherland. From 27 June 1849, her married name became Sutherland-Leveson-Gower.^1,2 She was created 1st Viscountess Tarbat, of Tarbat, co. Cromartie [U.K.] on 21 October 1861, with special remainder to her 2nd son Francis and his heirs.¹ She was created 1st Baroness Castlehaven, of Castlehaven, co. Cromartie [U.K.] on 21 October 1861, with special remainder to her 2nd son Francis and his heirs.¹ She was created 1st Countess of Cromartie [U.K.] on 21 October 1861, with special remainder to her 2nd son Francis and his heirs.¹ She was created 1st Baroness Macleod of Castle Leod, co. Cromartie [U.K.] on 21 October 1861, with special remainder to her 2nd son Francis and his heirs.¹ She held the office of Mistress of the Robes between 1870 and 1874.³ She was invested as a Lady, Royal Order of Victoria and Albert (V.A.) 3rd Class.³

     George Granville Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, Earl Gower was born on 27 July 1850.¹ He was the son of George Granville William Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, 3rd Duke of Sutherland and Anne Hay-Mackenzie, Countess of Cromartie.¹ He died on 5 July 1858 at age 7.¹
     George Granville Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, Earl Gower was styled as Earl Gower.

     Lady Millicent Fanny St. Clair-Erskine was born on 20 October 1867. She was the daughter of Robert Francis St. Clair-Erskine, 4th Earl of Rosslyn and Blanche Adeliza Fitzroy. She married, firstly, Cromartie Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, 4th Duke of Sutherland, son of George Granville William Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, 3rd Duke of Sutherland and Anne Hay-Mackenzie, Countess of Cromartie, on 20 October 1884. She married, secondly, Brig.-Gen. Percy Desmond FitzGerald on 17 October 1914. She and Brig.-Gen. Percy Desmond FitzGerald were divorced in 1919. She married, thirdly, Lt.-Col. George Ernest Hawes on 27 October 1919. She and Lt.-Col. George Ernest Hawes were divorced in 1925. She died on 20 August 1955 at age 87.
     From 20 October 1884, her married name became Leveson-Gower. From 17 October 1914, her married name became FitzGerald. From 27 October 1919, her married name became Hawes.

     Lady Victoria Elizabeth Leveson-Gower was born on 5 August 1885. She was the daughter of Cromartie Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, 4th Duke of Sutherland and Lady Millicent Fanny St. Clair-Erskine. She died on 28 January 1888 at age 2.

     Lord Alastair St. Clair Leveson-Gower was born on 24 January 1890. He was the son of Cromartie Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, 4th Duke of Sutherland and Lady Millicent Fanny St. Clair-Erskine. He married Elizabeth Hélène Gardner Demarest, daughter of Warren Gardner Demarest and Elizabeth Charlotte Applegate, on 27 April 1918.¹ He died on 28 April 1921 at age 31 at Zimbabwe.

     Elizabeth Hélène Gardner Demarest was born on 10 April 1892 at New York City, New York, U.S.A..² She was the daughter of Warren Gardner Demarest and Elizabeth Charlotte Applegate.^1,2 She married, firstly, John George Alexander Leishman, Jr., son of John George Alexander Leishman and Julia Crawford, on 18 September 1911 at The Episcopal Church, Cadenabbia, Lake Como, Italy.² She and John George Alexander Leishman, Jr. were divorced in 1917.² She married, secondly, Lord Alastair St. Clair Leveson-Gower, son of Cromartie Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, 4th Duke of Sutherland and Lady Millicent Fanny St. Clair-Erskine, on 27 April 1918.¹ She married, thirdly, Baron George Osten Driesen on 14 June 1931.¹ She died on 26 September 1931 at age 39.¹
     From 18 September 1911, her married name became Leishman.² From 27 April 1918, her married name became Leveson-Gower. From 14 June 1931, her married name became Driesen.

     Elizabeth Millicent Leveson-Gower, 24th Countess of Sutherland was born on 30 March 1921. She is the daughter of Lord Alastair St. Clair Leveson-Gower and Elizabeth Hélène Gardner Demarest. She married Charles Noel Jansen, son of Charles Wilfred Jansen and Nora Cook, on 5 January 1946.
     Elizabeth Millicent Leveson-Gower, 24th Countess of Sutherland gained the title of 24th Countess of Sutherland. She gained the title of Baroness of Strathnaver. Her married name became Jansen.

     Charles Noel Jansen was born on 25 December 1917. He is the son of Charles Wilfred Jansen and Nora Cook. He married Elizabeth Millicent Leveson-Gower, 24th Countess of Sutherland, daughter of Lord Alastair St. Clair Leveson-Gower and Elizabeth Hélène Gardner Demarest, on 5 January 1946.

     Alice Louisa Cavendish was the daughter of Lord George Henry Cavendish and Lady Louisa Lascelles. She married Algernon Fulke Egerton, son of Francis Egerton, 1st Earl of Ellesmere and Harriet Catherine Greville, on 22 January 1863. She died on 28 March 1905.
     Her married name became Egerton.

     Algernon Fulke Egerton was born on 31 December 1825. He was the son of Francis Egerton, 1st Earl of Ellesmere and Harriet Catherine Greville. He married Alice Louisa Cavendish, daughter of Lord George Henry Cavendish and Lady Louisa Lascelles, on 22 January 1863. He died on 14 July 1891 at age 65.
