     Margaret Cock was the daughter of Ralph Cock.1 She married, firstly, Captain John Rogers.1 She married, secondly, Sir William Blackett, 1st Bt., son of William Blackett and Isabella Croke, after 1674.1 She died between July 1703 and November 1710.1 Her will (dated 7 July 1703) was proven (by probate) on 13 November 1710.1
     Her married name became Rogers.1 From after 1674, her married name became Blackett.1

     Sir Edward Blackett, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1649.1 He was the son of Sir William Blackett, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Kirkley.1 He married, firstly, Mary Norton, daughter of Thomas Norton, before 1680.1 He married, secondly, Mary Yorke, daughter of Sir John Yorke and Mary Norton, circa 1680.1 He married, thirdly, Hon. Diana Booth, daughter of George Booth, 1st Baron Delamer of Dunham Massey and Lady Elizabeth Grey, on 21 October 1699 at St. Mary le Bow, Durham, County Durham, EnglandG.1 He died on 23 April 1718.1 He was buried at Ripon, Yorkshire, North Riding, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) in April 1718.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Blackett, of Newcastle, co. Northumberland [E., 1673] on 16 May 1680.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ripon from 1689 to 1690.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Northumberland from 1689 to 1690.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Northumberland between 1690 and 1709.1 He lived at Newby, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1
