     Anthony Palmer-Tomkinson was born on 11 March 1921 at Oakhurst, Surrey, England^G.^1,2 He was the son of James Edward Palmer-Tomkinson and Marion Lindsay Smith.¹ He died on 25 April 1942 at age 21, killed in action.^1,3
     He was given the name of Anthony Tomkinson at birth.¹ In 1933 his name was legally changed to Anthony Palmer-Tomkinson.¹ He fought in the Second World War. He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.³

     Jane Lindsay Palmer-Tomkinson was born on 15 November 1913.² She is the daughter of James Edward Palmer-Tomkinson and Marion Lindsay Smith.² She married Sir Herbert Ingram, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Herbert Ingram, 2nd Bt. and Hilda Vivian Lake, on 9 February 1935.¹
     From 9 February 1935, her married name became Ingram.²

     Sir Herbert Ingram, 3rd Bt. was born on 18 April 1912.² He was the son of Sir Herbert Ingram, 2nd Bt. and Hilda Vivian Lake.³ He married Jane Lindsay Palmer-Tomkinson, daughter of James Edward Palmer-Tomkinson and Marion Lindsay Smith, on 9 February 1935.² He died on 3 July 1980 at age 68.²
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.³ He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.² He fought in the Second World War, and was mentioned in despatches.³ He gained the rank of Major in the Grenadier Guards and Royal Electricial and Mechanical Engineers.² He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Ingram, of Swineshead Abbey, co. Lincoln [U.K., 1893] on 1 June 1958.¹
