     Mary Buffett Christian was born on 1 October 1828 at Pitcairn IslandG.1 She was the daughter of John Buffett and Mary Christian.1,2 She married Simon Young, son of George Young and Hannah Adams, on 31 July 1845 at Pitcairn IslandG.2 She died in 1901. She was buried on 22 October 1901 at Pitcairn IslandG.2
     From 31 July 1845, her married name became Young.2 In 1864 she was among the second wave of returnees to Pitcairn from Norfolk.2

     Fletcher Christian Nobbs was born on 1 September 1833 at Pitcairn IslandG.1 He is the son of Reverend George Hunn Nobbs and Sarah Christian.1 He married Susan Quintal, daughter of Edward Quintal and Dinah Adams, on 20 June 1853 at Pitcairn IslandG.3 He died on 3 March 1912 at age 78 at Norfolk IslandG.4
     He held the office of Chief Magistrate of Norfolk Island between 1874 and 1875.4

     He fought in the First World War.3 He gained the rank of Gunner in the 10th Field Artillery Battalion.4
