     He inherited his father's estates.1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn on 24 July 1701.1 He lived at Warden Abbey, Bedfordshire, EnglandG.1

     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Northampton between 1722 and 1734.2 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in 1735.2
