     Cynthia Mary Caroline Hargreave was born on 11 December 1942.1 She is the daughter of Ian Edward Hargreave and Virginia Susan Stewart-Brown.1 She married William Geoffrey Seddon-Brown, son of Major James Geoffrey Seddon-Brown, on 12 February 1966.1 She married, secondly, Rear-Admiral John Hilton, son of Edward Thomas Hilton and Margaret Norah Attrill Millard, in 1985.2
     Her married name became Hilton.2 From 12 February 1966, her married name became Seddon-Brown.1
