Sir Norman Seddon-Brown1

     Sir Norman Seddon-Brown was born on 27 August 1880 at Ince, Lancashire, England.1,2 He was the son of James Brown and Helena Elizabeth Seddon.1 He married Gertrude Mary Martin, daughter of William Martin and Mary Jane Bissett.1 He died on 8 February 1962 at age 81.1
     He was given the name of Norman Seddon Brown at birth.1 He was CEO of Amalgamated Cotton Mills.1 He was appointed Knight in 1936.1 On 17 January 1936 his name was legally changed to Norman Seddon Seddon-Brown by Deed Poll.1

     Anne Onslow was the daughter of Admiral Sir Richard Onslow, 1st Bt. and Anne Mitchel.2 She married, firstly, Francis Gerard Lake, 2nd Viscount Lake, son of Gerard Lake, 1st Viscount Lake and Elizabeth Barker, on 12 August 1833.1 She married, secondly, Henry Gritton on 14 September 1837.1 She died on 4 April 1853.1
     From 12 August 1833, her married name became Lake. From 14 September 1837, her married name became Gritton.1

Francis Gerard Lake, 2nd Viscount Lake

     Francis Gerard Lake, 2nd Viscount Lake was the son of Gerard Lake, 1st Viscount Lake and Elizabeth Barker. He married Anne Onslow, daughter of Admiral Sir Richard Onslow, 1st Bt. and Anne Mitchel, on 12 August 1833.1 He died on 12 May 1836, without issue.
     He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Lake, of Delhi and Laswary, and of Aston Clinton, in the County of Buckingham [U.K., 1807] on 20 February 1808.1
